WIA na quarentena

8º Webinar: Teoria da failing firm (em inglês)

Data: 27 de agosto de 2020, às 10:00.

This will be WIA's first webinar in English and we are very excited about foreign contributions to the failing firm defense subject. In Brazil, the discussion is incipient, but it has raised several questions due to the COVID outbreak and a potential transaction involving a bankrupt telecom company. Although we have few merger cases ruled, Cade has been conservative, in line with the main jurisdictions.

The event will be held on August 27, at 10am (Brazilian time) - 9am at Washington and 15pm at Frankfurt. The speakers will be Johanna Kübler/COMMEO (European representative) and Rachel Adcox/AXINN (American representative). The moderator will be Paola Pugliese (Brazilian antitrust lawyer) and Leonor will present the event as WIA member.
